RESERVATION |

Reserved Quota Admissions |
a) B.A. Programme Course :- Only Six seats each are reserved for students offering Sanskrit/Telugu/Tamil in B.A. Programme. The students must have passed the respective languages in Class X or Class XII. |
b) B.Com(Pass)Course :- Only Six seats are reserved for students offering Telugu in B.Com(Pass)Course. The students must have passed Telugu in Class X or Class XII. |
Students should apply for the above reserved quotas by indicating clearly "SANSKRIT/TELUGU/TAMIL QUOTA" on the top of the Computer Index Card. |
Admission of the basis of the Sports/Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) (As per the University of Delhi rules) :- |
1. Not more than 5% of the total number of seats separately both in Honours and other Courses for I Year of the Under-Graduate Courses (except those courses where there is an Admission Test or where there are Centralized Admissions in the College) may be offered admission on the basis of Sports and other Extra-Curricular distinctions. These will be course-wise; 2.5% each for Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA). Academic merit will also be taken into consideration for this purpose. |
2. Admissions on the basis of Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities will be finalized by the College on the recommendations of a Committee consisting of the Principal, Lecturer in Physical Education and some other teachers and students associated with Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities to be constituted for the purpose in the College. |
3. The Committee will screen the applications and ascertain their Competence through the Interview, Test and Trial Performance. |
4. Mere Study of Vocational Subjects such as Music, Dancing, Painting, Mechanical Drawing, Physical Education etc in the school does not qualify a candidate for eligibility under Sports/ECA Quota. The following will be the order of preference in the selection of candidates for admission on the basis of Sports and other Co-Curricular distinctions :- |
Admission under Sports Quota: |
The students must have: |
a) Represented India in any event/game during the last three years. |
b) Secured I or II or III position in any event/game in Jr National level Tournament during the last three years. |
c) Secured I or II or III position in any event/game in National School Games during the last three years. |
d) Secured I or II or III Position in All India Public School Games during the last three years. |
e) Represented in State meet where performance is I or II or III both in Individual and Team level in all India Rural Sports during the last three years. |
f) Secured I or II or III position in any event/game in the State Schools Championship during the last three years. |
g) Secured I or II or III position in Inter Zonal games during the last three years of State Schools. Mere School representation is not considered. |
h) Admission under Sports Quota are open to the following disciplines :- |

Admissions under ECA Quota: |
i) Guidelines for admission under ECA Quota include Awards/Prizes at the National/State/Zonal/interzonal/school level at individual/team events in Music, Dance, Drama, Debate, Painting, Photography/choreography, Quiz, Scientific Model Exhibitions, Mathematical Olympiad, Creative Writing and any other relevant Extra-Curricular Activities. |
5. Dates of Tests/Trials/list of selected candidates for admissions under Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities Quota will be notified separately on the College Notice Board from time to time. |
Note :- Candidate seeking admission under the Sports/ECA Quota should apply separately on the proforma available in the College Office (Cost Rs 10/- each), giving necessary details along with the Photocopies of Certificates/Testimonials and submit the same at the Special Counter/Box. |
6. Proper record of the candidates admitted under this category will be kept by the College Office. The Admission made, on the basis of any false claim, will be cancelled. |
7. Students admitted under Sports/ECA Category have to participate in the events under which he/she is admitted, failing which his/her admission will be cancelled without further notice at any time. |
Important Note: Maximum of 10% Weightage is given from the last cut-off list admitted into the course that the candidate is seeking admission. However, special weightage will be given to those who have won prizes/awards in the events mentioned in the Prospectus at the National and International level. |
SCHEDULE CASTE (S.C.)/SCHEDULE TRIBE (ST) ADMISSIONS |
Candidates belonging to the Schedule Castes/Schedule Tribes and seeking admission to the Under-Graduate Courses available in the College will be required to get their names registered at the University on the dates to be notified by the University. Admission will be automatically cancelled if SC/ST Certificate submitted by the candidate are found false by the University/College Authorities. |
A Candidate is required to produce 'Admission Slip' issued by the University of Delhi for consideration under SC/ST Quota. |
