ADMISSION PROCEDURE |

Application for admission shall be submitted on the Computer Index Card (CIC) available along with the Prospectus on payment of Rs 50/- from the College. Option of upto Six Courses can be given in a single card. No certificate need to be attached with this Card. The last date for receipt of application form and the schedule of admission will be as per the University of Delhi notification. |
The students may also apply for admission through Delhi University centralized admission forms. The merit list provided by the Delhi University is considered by the college. |
The candidates selected for admission after counselling shall fill up the prescribed admission form to be given by the Teacher-in-Charge and the following Certificates (Original as well as attested copies) must be attached with this form :- |
a) A certificate of having passed the last qualifying examination (provisional certificate or copy of the mark sheet attested by the respective School Principal). |
b) Mark Sheet of the last Examination. |
c) A Certificate of having passed X Class Examination with the date of birth particulars. |
d) Character Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended. |
e) 3 Copies of Passport Size Photographs. |
f) A certificate of having passed a University or Board or Class VIII Examination with Hindi as a subject (if exemption from Compulsory Hindi is sought). |
Original Certificates will be returned after verification at the time of admission i.e., one day after the payment of the required fees. |
Special Notes :- |
1. Students seeking admission to the College will have to bring their Parents/Guardians at the time of counselling for admission, for signing the documents in the presence of the Teacher-in-Charge of admissions. |
2. Appearance of the name of a student in the Merit List alone is not enough for finalization of the admission. The admission is assured only when the eligibility criteria is fulfilled and both the Convenor of Admission Committee and the Principal of the College approve. |
3. For the purpose of merit, students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in the current year (2005) only will be considered. |
4. A Candidate who has passed 10+2 qualifying examination conducted by a State Board other than CBSE/ISC will be required to get their Mark Sheet / Provisional Certificate verified and attested by the Secretary of the State Board of Examinations or by the Resident Commissioner of the respective State located in Delhi. |
5. Sequence of taking up forms for admissions :: The Candidates whose names appear in the First Admission List will have to come to the College to deposit the required papers within stipulated time depending on the availability of seats in each course. Candidates from the First Admission List will not be entertained once the Candidates from the Second Admission List are called for submitting the necessary documents. |
