Admission to Miranda House Hostel is done only after the student has procured admission in one of the regular Courses listed above. Students are advised to fill in their Hostel form (available in the Hostel office) immediately after they have secured admission, the very same day. The Hostel admission is confirmed only after a personal interview in which the Hostel Committee meets the candidate with her parents and local guardian. The criteria for short-listing candidates for the interview is based on merit and is the same as laid down for admission to the desired course in College. Only out-station students are considered and Gap Year students will not be called for the 1st interview. Candidates who apply through the Reserved Quota will have to answer an interview at a slightly later date. The dates and notification listed below:

• Display of list of eligible candidates for Hostel Interview: 29th June 2005, 4. p.m.

• Interview of candidates along with parents and guardian: 30th June, 9. a.m.

• Display of list of selected candidates: 1st July, 11 a.m.

• Admission and Payment of Fees: 1st July to 4th July (up till 1. p.m.)
