Q.1. What is the minimum percentage criteria for admission to LSR?
Ans. The minimum percentage required varies across different courses. First cut-off lists will be put up on 25th June 2005.
Q.2. What kind of admission tests will be conducted for Journalism and English (Hons.) Courses?
Ans. There is no specific syllabus for either of the tests. The test for English (Hons.) will test a student's comprehension, analytical and language skills. The test for Journalism hons. will test comprehension, analytical and language skills and awareness of contemporary events.
Q.3. Are the admission forms available online or can they be sent by post?
Ans. Admissions forms can be obtained online or at the College counter only.
Q.4. Is the cut-off percentage different for students residing outside Delhi?
Ans. Cut-off is the same for all regions in India.
Q.5. The first lists are taken out on merit or first come first basis ?
Ans. The lists are taken out on merit basis only.
Q.6. What were the last year's (2004) cut-off percentages?
Ans. Last year's cut-off percentages are not available. However, they are generally above 80% and vary across different courses.
Q.7. Is there an entrance test for B.A. (Hons.) Economics?
Ans. No, there's no entrance test for B.A. (Hons.) Economics for Admissions 2005.
Q.8. What is the procedure for Admission to MA Courses?
Ans. Applicants wishing to join LSR College for MA Courses are required to get themselves registerted with the Delhi University (South Campus). Details are available on the DU Website www.du.ac.in.
