I) Please fill in the application form attached to this information bulletin. You can indicate your preference for 3         courses on each form. Read the section 'Course Listings' carefully before you decide on the subject         combinations.

   II) Please note that the name on the application form must tally with the name on the Date of Birth certificate.

  III) Please fill in all your subjects with the correct code marking as indicated in the application form. It is         necessary to fill in the marks of all the subjects you have offered at the last qualifying examination even         though the admission list will be prepared on the basis of English and three best elective subjects.

  IV) Please note that certain subjects carry negative weightage. (Please see the Guidelines for the evaluation of         merit for details). This negative weightage will be taken into account in the admission list. It is in your own         interest to fill in the marks of all the subjects you have offered at the last qualifying examination.

   V) All duly filled in forms are to be submitted to the College Office before the last date (refer to Date Schedule). It         is advised that Acknowledgement slip must be collected while submitting the Application Form. Applicants         are advised to keep carefully with them the Acknowledgement slip issued to them at the time of submission         of Application Form. Acknowledgement slip should be always with you so that it can be produced on demand.

  VI) There will be a written test for English and Journalism. Students applying for these subjects must check the         notice board for information regarding these tests and must complete the registration formalities for the tests         according to the schedule put up on the College notice board. For details refer to date schedule.

 VII) A list of candidates selected for interview / admission to the Honours and Pass Courses of the College will         be put up on the college notice board shortly after the last date of application.

VIII) Applicants are advised to check this list and present themselves at the College according to the schedule. If         selected, they are required to submit all original certificates on the same day and pay the fees. The date and         time will be put up in the College notice board.

 IX) At the time of Interview/Entrance test you are required to keep the following documents and their photocopies         as well as two passport size photographs with you. You would be asked to submit them as soon as your         admission is finalized.

Certificate of last examination passed.

Character Certificate from the Institution last attended.

List of Marks on the basis of which admission is sought (Only the marks sheet issued by the Board      conducting the last examination passed will be accepted).

Certificate of Date of Birth.

Certificate of having passed Lower Hindi (8th class) if exemption from compulsory test in Hindi is sought.

Certificate of SC/ST, War Widows if applicable.

Sports, Extra-curricular Certificates if applicable.
