Admission to B.A.: Entry to B.A. is through two streams:
(i) non-formal and the (ii) formal.
The non-formal stream is for those students who have not passed 10+2 but have passed BPP Programme of IGNOU. The formal stream is for those who have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination.

The University offers a B.A. Degree. Medium of instruction can be either English or Hindi. A learner can complete the B.A Degree in a minimum period of three years and a maximum period of six years. The University follows the credit system. One credit is equal to 30 hours of learner’s study time. A learner will be eligible to get a B.A. Degree when he/she earns 96 credits that are spread over three categories of courses – Foundation Courses, Elective Courses and Application - Oriented Courses as given under :

Course	: B.A.
Foundation	: 24 Credits
Elective Courses	: 64 or 56 Credits
Application Courses	: 8 or 16 Credits
