Conditions For Reservation Of Seats For Foreign Students

At least 5% seats in the first year of each course in Colleges are reserved for foreign students. However, this reservation will not be open to those foreign students who have passed the qualifying examination for purposes of admission to the University from an Indian Board/University in India including Indian Boards like CBSE located in a foreign country. If adequate number of foreign students do not seek admission, these seats will be declared open for the Indian students after July 31, 2005, and filled in the usual manner. The Colleges are however free to admit more than the reserved 5% quota on the recommendation of the Foreign Students’ Advisor.

All foreign candidates seeking admission to B.A./B.A. (Vocational Studies)/B.Com.(Pass)/B.Sc.(G) Mathematical Sciences / B.A. (Hons.) / B.Sc.(Hons.) Mathematics and Statistics, B.Com.(Hons.), B.Sc.(Hons.) and B.Sc. Physical Sciences/Applied Sc/Life Sc./Applied Life Sc./Applied Physical Sc. including restructured Courses and satisfying, marks and age requirements for the course are required to apply to the Foreign Students Advisor, c/o Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. No foreign student shall be admitted to a College without prior approval of the Foreign Students Advisor, University of Delhi.
