Conditions For Reservation Of Seats For Armed Forces

Children/Widows/Wives of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para-Military Personnel, killed/disabled in action or those who died/were disabled on duty and are seeking admission will be required to get their names registered for Sciences\ courses at Faculty of Science, North Campus University of Delhi and other than Sciences Courses at Room No 220 , New Administrative Block, North Campus University of Delhi (Between June 01, 2005 to June 15 , 2005 from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. each day excluding Sunday).

Relaxation to the extent of 5% in the minimum marks in the aggregate or in the subject, as the case may be, will be given to the candidates of the above mentioned categories while determining their eligibility to the course concerned.

5 % of the total number of seats in each of the courses has been reserved for the Children/ Widows / Wives of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para-Military Personnel, (i) Killed or disabled in action. The cases of Children/Widows/Wives of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para-Military Personnel who (ii) died/were disabled while on duty, will be considered for admission against the 5% seats in all the courses reserved for the Children / Widows /Wives of the Officers and Men of the Armed Forces including Para-Military Personnel killed or disabled in action, if any seat remains vacant after admission of persons of the (i) category.

For purpose of registration, the candidates are required to submit their applications on a prescribed form available at the Registration Centre, along with two attested Photostat copies as well as the originals of the required certificates which will be returned to them after endorsement on the reverse of the original certificates.

In order to be eligible for the above concessions, the children/ widows/wives of the Officers and Jawans etc. will be required to submit the certificate of educational concessions (in original) from anyone of the following authorities:

I) Secretary, Kendriya Sainik Board, Delhi

II) Secretary, Rajya/Zila Sainik Board

III) Officer - in Charge, Record Office

IV) First - Class Stipendiary Magistrate
