Conditions For Transfer to the II Year B.A./B.Com (Pass) Course

I) Any student of B.A. (Hons.) or B.Com. (Hons) Course, who has passed the Part I examination or a student who has been declared eligible for promotion to the next higher class on the result of the Part I examination or a student who has failed at the Part I examination, obtaining at least 25% marks in the aggregate (Main subject and Qualifying and Subsidiary Subjects taken together) in each case, may at his option, be allowed to proceed to the II year class of the B.A. or the B.Com (Pass) Course at the beginning of the 1st term of the II year of the Course if otherwise eligible for admission to the I year of the B.A. or the B.Com (Pass) Course, as the case may be as per qualification possessed by him at that time. Such a student, on transfer, shall be required to take Part I and Part II examination, simultaneously at the B.A. or the B.Com. (Pass) Courses, as the case may be, at the end of the 2nd Year of a course, if otherwise eligible.

II) Any student of B.Sc. (Hons.) Course, who has passed the Part I examination or a student who has been declared eligible for promotion to the next higher class on the result of the Part I examination or a student who has failed at the examination obtaining at least 25% marks in the aggregate (Main subject and Qualifying and Subsidiary Subjects taken together) in each case, may at his option, be allowed to proceed to the II year class of the B.A. (Pass) or the B.Com. (Pass) or the B.Sc. Physical Sciences/Applied Sc/Life Sc./Applied Life Sc./Applied Physical Sc., as the case may be, as per qualification possessed by him at that time. Such a student on transfer, shall be required to take Part I and Part II examination, simultaneously of the B.A./B.Com. (Pass)/ B.Sc. Physical Sciences/ Applied Sc/Life Sc./Applied Life Sc./Applied Physical Sc. Courses, as the case may be, at the end of the II Year of a course, if otherwise eligible.

Note:-

No direct admission is permissible to the II Year of B.A. (Hons) including B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics and Statistics and B.Com (Hons) Course.
