Conditions For Migration To Second Year From Other Universities |

A Student who wishes to seek admission/migration after passing the Senior School Certificate Examination (under 10+2 system) or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto and after having also passed the 1st year examination of a degree course conducted by a recognized University, can seek admission/ migration provided the student has secured |
40% marks in the aggregate of the Senior School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination. |
The minimum percentage of marks in the 1st year examination of the degree course equivalent to the percentage of marks as laid down by the University of Delhi to pass the I Year examination of the degree course. |
NOTES:- |
I) Admission of a student to the University in the second academic year of study for degree examination may only be allowed on the ground that the parent or guardian of the student is resident of or has migrated to Delhi. |
II) Candidates who seek migration to II Year of B.A./B.Com. (Pass) Courses are required to take Part I & II examination simultaneously at the end of the second year and shall be governed by the rules laid down for promotion by the University. |
III) Migration is only a permissive facility and not an obligatory one. |
IV) Each such migration is subject to the approval of the Academic Council of the University on individual merits of each case. |
V) No Inter-University migration is allowed to II or III year B.Sc. (Hons) Courses. |
