Compartmental Candidates

I) Candidates placed under compartment in one subject only at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi, or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto of any statutory University/Board will be eligible for provisional admission in Colleges, School of Open Learning and Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board, if they obtain the required minimum percentage of marks in the aggregate by adding the minimum pass marks of the subject in which the candidate has been placed under compartment to the marks obtained in remaining subjects.

II) Candidates who fail to appear or fail to pass at the Compartmental examination by December of the Year of admission shall not be entitled to continue on rolls and their provisional admission will be cancelled without any further reference to them.

III) Candidates placed in Compartment in one/two subjects at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination who are not eligible for provisional admission to regular Colleges and the Non-Collegiate Women’s Education Board under clause a) may, after clearing their compartmental Examination and securing at least 40% marks be admitted in a College before the prescribed last date, subject to availability of seat.

Note:-
The Candidate placed in compartment will not be considered for admission to B.Sc. (Hons) Courses under the Faculty of Science.
